My First espresso set up

After almost five years since earning my chemistry degree, COVID hit and made it difficult to find a job. Luckily, my professor hooked me up with a home lab data job that paid decently, although it was tough to get the hang of at first. Once I received my second paycheck, I splurged on an espresso machine. After years of hand grinding coffee on my V60 and being broke as a student, I was ready to upgrade. It was a bit of a learning curve since I had never worked with an espresso machine before, but my job helped me understand its mechanics. I went all out and bought a Profitec Pro 500 with an Eureka Mignon Specialita, which was probably the most expensive thing I’ve ever purchased.
